Crossroads Dance Project was founded in 1996 by Kathryn Eurich. CDP's five year run of  the innovative performance"The Gift of the Nutcracker" was recognized by the Washington Post for using one of  the most popular ballets to bring moral value and inspiration to their audiences  during the Holiday Season. Children from Washington D.C.'s inner city program, The Darrell Green Foundation founded by Redskin's Darrell Green, were invited to perform with the company as well as other surrounding dance schools.

Crossroads' past performances included the unique blending of  folk dance with modern dance and ballet in their annual spring season concerts to bring "cerebral... and breathtaking" (The Washington Post)  dance  to the D.C. metropolitan area including the National Cathedral in Washington, DC.  Always a desire has been to incorporate themes of spirituality and faith to the dance. Today, CDP is still continuing to build a repertoire of creativity and beauty and truth.
