Director Kathryn Eurich has a BFA in dance from George Mason University.  She received her training at the Washington School of Ballet and the Milwaukee School of Ballet , with invitations to train at the San Francisco Ballet and The School of American Ballet.  During her training in the accelerated program at Milwaukee School of Ballet, Ms. Eurich was invited by Artistic Director Ted Kivitt (formerly w/American Ballet Theatre) to perform with the Milwaukee Ballet in 'La Bayadere', along with fellow classmate Ethen Stiefell (currently w/Amercian Ballet Theatre), as they worked under the personal coaching of Toni Landers (Royal Danish Ballet).  After graduating from GMU, Ms. Eurich spent 5 years performing the major roles from Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Cinderalla,  and Swan Lake while traveling throughout Virginia under Young Audiences of Virginia.  Ms. Eurich spent 7 years perfoming in musical theatre productions including "Iolanthe" at the Shakespeare Theatre, as well as other extensive performing throughout D.C. at various venues including Wolftrap & The Wooley Mammoth Theatre.  During this  time, she also spent 2 years dancing  professionally for contempory ballet choreographer Vladimir Angelov in the D.C. area and abroad in Austria.  Additionally, she has internationally ministered with her dance performance in Jerusalem, Israel as well as in Kenya, Africa at the Church on the Rock (in Nairobi).  During her time in Africa, Ms. Eurich spent time  teaching dance to orphaned children at the Grace Children's Center (with co-member Rachel Bruce of the newly formed company Crossroads Dance Project).   In 1996 MS. Eurich started Crossroads Dance Project, (CDP), a D.C. based Contempory Dance Company. CDP has received reviews by the Washington Post and other area papers recognizing their works of inspiration and moral value.  CDP was nominated for "best emerging modern dance company" in the DC area by the DC Metro Dance Awards.
